C64 Vault does not provide a media-upload endpoint. When you choose a local file, the browser creates a temporary local object URL and passes it directly to the emulator running on your device.
The optional Local Vault uses browser-managed IndexedDB storage under this site’s origin. You can remove each saved item. Clearing site data may also remove local media and emulator save states.
No account is required. The isolated emulator workbench does not run advertising tags. C64 Vault’s separate information pages may use Google AdSense after Google approves the site. Google and its partners may use cookies or other identifiers for ad delivery and measurement where consent and applicable law permit; refusing optional advertising consent does not prevent access to the emulator or preservation materials.
