What this artifact is
cc65 Plasma is a C64 graphics demonstration built from the pinned official cc65 sample source. The upstream sample catalog identifies plasma as a graphics demo written by groepaz. This sixth admitted artifact expands the library through a deterministic build and complete evidence review rather than by copying a large third-party catalog.
The public 4,112-byte PRG was built twice from cc65 revision e11fb5c39371046ebe25485f984f644c5a0d65d3 with the pinned local toolchain. Both build hashes matched. The resulting bytes also matched the admitted artifact exactly. Before admission, the candidate was tested through the sanitized C64 Vault runtime with cross-origin isolation and SharedArrayBuffer available, one emulator canvas, no external requests, no upload-like requests, and no console errors in the recorded browser.
Why it is admitted
C64 Vault admits an artifact only when the source, redistribution basis, integrity, runtime compatibility, publication quality, and withdrawal path can be bound to one exact record. For cc65 Plasma, the source owner is recorded as cc65 project; the immutable source revision is e11fb5c39371046ebe25485f984f644c5a0d65d3. The retained license is Zlib. The artifact scan and format check passed for the exact digest shown below.
Admission does not mean that every similarly named file is approved, and it is not a promise that all browser, hardware, or input combinations will behave identically. It means the evidence gates passed for this revision and these bytes. A later contradiction, rights challenge, hash mismatch, or runtime regression can move the record out of the public catalog through the documented withdrawal process.
How to use it
Choose cc65 Plasma in the Open Library and select Verify & open. The workbench computes the artifact digest before launch; it does not trust the filename. Start the local runtime after the verification message appears. Plasma runs automatically as a visual demonstration, so no account or network score service is involved. Pause, reset, theater mode, and fullscreen remain browser controls around the unchanged deterministic PRG.
